How to Promote JVzoo Products?

Hi I’m Mark, and I’ll share my view from current success with JVZoo and traffic growth.

The goal is not to brag, but simply back up with some facts & figures to support my opinions.

On JVZoo, I’m listed as a top 10% Affiliate.

I have 2 websites with a combined 1.3 Million Google impressions, so my #1 tip is:

Organic Traffic is King!

This is how I’ve been seen 1.3 Million times on Google in less than 1 year!

Below are some captions from Google console. For those unfamiliar, that’s just Google’s organic traffic activity related to your site.

Most came from my other site called “breachthesecurity.com” which is an ethical hacking niche.

780 first page query results.

This website, Softools.org, has 237 first page query results on Google, and around 160,000 Impressions.

I can’t emphasize how valuable organic traffic is. I’ve played around with advertising in the past, and I hate it.

I think it’s incredibly overpriced for western countries, and results in being a way-too-risky method of trying to make some money online.

I could talk for ages about how much I think social media advertising is a scam, but I won’t bore you.

How do I get Organic Traffic to an Affiliate Website?

There’s nothing super-advanced, but I believe the main barrier to people achieving significant organic traffic is analysis paralysis – e.g reading so much where you get overwhelmed and pretty much do nothing! Anything is better than nothing. It’s about consistency, not thinking it takes perfection.

Content posts are literally financial assets. They provide recurring traffic, of which a percentage converts into customers. Ads and social media posts are seen for a moment then disappear. All that effort for it to disappear. Seems a bit crazy to me. I don’t want to pay $1 for a person to click on my site – I’ll never make money.

My key tips are:

  1. Long-tail keywords: Google search volume under 1M results.
  2. Address all performance issues (indexing, speed tests, mobile supportive etc).
  3. Write something instead of nothing
  4. Continuous improvement cycle. Write a post, review actual search queries, then update content to closer target this.

Growing organic traffic can be free. It just a slower process to try to analyze information and make decisions. That’s ideal for any hobbyist or occasional side hustle.

For those looking to accelerate the process to obviously get affiliate commissions in your bank sooner, there are smart tools available.

Full disclosure, I was involved in the development of this software. I’m a web developer #1, Affiliate marketer #2.

The internet is full of speculation about best practices and what works and doesn’t work, but what isn’t overly discussed is what Google actually has to say about it. After all, that’s who we’re all trying to rank for! There is some extensive information, but 4 points very relevant to affiliate marketers are:

  • Avoid “thin affiliate” sites. This means that you should avoid having exclusively affiliate content on your website. Google sees this as bad user experience because the user could just go directly to the supplier. Remember: what value are you adding to this? The best approach is to have a mix of affiliate content, and general blog content. A 50/50 ratio is be perfect.
  • “Doorway” sites. Having multiple pages (e.g locations), that all lead to one page (a sales page, for example). An example is having 20 pages that are 99% the same content but only differentiated by the location: “Melbourne”, “Sydney”, “Brisbane” etc. Again, it’s a bad user experience, and that’s what Google needs to prioritize.
  • Duplicate content. Don’t just copy stuff from around the internet. It won’t rank well at all. You need to at least modify it and add you own twist.
  • “Black hat” techniques. This refers to any unethical practices that you’re doing just to get more traffic. Black hat techniques include keyword stuffing, cloaking, and using private link networks. Don’t try it because you won’t win. Google is infinitely smarter than you, sorry. They are known to put people in “Google Jail” for breaching the rules.

You win the game by continually exposing yourself to opportunity.

Almost every website on earth will experience the 80/20 rule: You’ll get 80% of your traffic from 20% of your content. It might feel like you wasted time on the low performing 80% of content, but it’s like a weird law of nature. You can’t just write that 20% and hope it does well.

This strategy isn’t doing something once, then sitting back waiting for results. No, it’s a cycle of improvement. Not daily, but definitely weekly. It’s actually pretty simple, and 4 hours a week should cover it.

Seeu is currently on sale for $97 for a lifetime subscription. In terms of market competition, this is extremely competitive as they can be $99+ per month! What sets SEEU apart from other SEO tools is that provides an applied strategy that’s been tested to grow organic traffic.
